Get to know Patti Backer and her studio and storefront in Berlin, The Dusty Lamb. Patti is an artist and illustrator and completely self taught. She opened her shop up to the public in March 2019.
Her paintings are a combination of folk and lowbrow. Cute and sometimes slightly sinister. She is inspired by her garden, nature, Wes Anderson movies and good food. Her creative side and love for art started for as long as she can remember. Her work has been featured in art shows and galleries in Salt Lake City, UT, Las Vegas, NV, Washington DC, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD as well as the Eastern shore of Maryland and Delaware.
