Golie Miamee Sand + Cedar
“Sand + Cedar” is a collection of images that bridges the histories, traditions, and cultures of Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, and Morocco. Veiled women, set against the backdrop of vast dunes evoke the shared human spirit and the deep connection between place, culture, and the unseen forces that unite these regions. At First Friday Miamee and her husband, Peter Elias, owners of Spain Wine Bar, will be providing tastings from the cuisine of their new restaurant, also named Sand & Cedar, opening soon in Ocean Pines.
