Maryland’s Coast, Worcester County, received the Market Expansion Award for the success of its Let’s Go Marketing Campaign——a multi-channel advertising initiative developed with support from D3, a Maryland-based marketing agency. Designed to position the county as a vibrant destination for getaways and day trips, the campaign highlighted Worcester County’s diverse outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, and watersports, while strategically targeting out-of-state residents within a four-hour drive.
The campaign’s highly strategic and creative approach generated 6,131 new leads and drove significant increases in web traffic, brand engagement, and hotel bookings. This recognition reflects not only Worcester County’s innovative efforts but also D3’s exceptional partnership in expanding the county’s reach and attracting a broader audience.
Tourism Advocate of the Year: Delegate Wayne Hartman

Berlin’s Double Win: Best Small Event and Best Use of Social Media
The Town of Berlin celebrated two major wins, further cementing its reputation as one of Maryland’s most vibrant destinations.

Ivy Wells, Berlin’s Director of Economic and Community Development, shared, “The Berlin Farmers Market has grown to be more than just a market.
