Tracks and Yaks started in Frostburg by owners Adam and his wife, Julie. As the first rail bike excursion company in the state of Maryland, they were very successful, which led them the opportunity to expand. Their newest location is in Berlin. Individuals are invited to book their ride throughout “America’s Coolest Small Town”. There are two rides to choose from, Ironshire Express, a 1.5 hour/6 mile ride or Queponco, a 3 hour/13 mile ride. Both offering beautiful views of Worcester County farmland and coastal forests.
This experience is smooth along steel railroad tracks that date back to 1877. With a flat terrain, this rail bike excursion is open to anyone! Babies and toddlers are also able to tagalong with a baby carrier or provided safety harness. Berlin rail bike tours are offered daily, Wednesday through Monday.
