The Worcester County Office of Economic Development, in partnership with the Worcester County Library, invites community members to attend a new professional development workshop, “Skills to Succeed at Work.” This free session will help participants discover the essential soft skills that can strengthen employability, improve collaboration in the workplace, and support personal and professional growth.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Maryland’s Coast Offices, located at 107 West Green Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863. There is no cost to attend, and participants are welcome to bring their lunch.
The session will be led by Sue DeLazaro, Instructor and Founder of Ideal Culture Lab, who will guide attendees through the definition and importance of soft skills in today’s workforce. The presentation will also highlight the top three soft skills employers value most, share six practical strategies for improving these skills, and help participants develop a personalized action plan for continued growth.
Pre-registration is encouraged.
